ROSS Ford FE flat top pistons in this section are machined on new style
forgings for maximum strength and minimum weight. Valve pockets are machined to fit FE
Ford Medium Riser, High Riser, Edelbrock 6005, 6006, 6007, 6008, and Mercury
and Ford FE series engine 390, 406, 410, 427, and 428 heads. Suitable for nitrous
systems of 250 horsepower or less. Aircraft quality pins included are 2.930 length, .145
wall, 144 gram weight and are retained by double spirolox. Ring sizes are 1/16, 1/16,
3/16. Top ring is .280 down for relieved blocks. Not recommended for forced induction
systems.
