Our aluminum front BBC motor plate engine mounts make it easy to install any big block Chevy engine into any just about any vehicle. BBC motor plates provide a simple way to mount any BBC engine in just about any application from a street driven Hot Rod to an all out race vehicle. These big block chevy motor plates make engine installation easier and quicker. Our bbc motor plates are made from 1/4 thick 6061-T6 aluminum.

On this page you will also find information on our big block Chevy mid motor plates. BBC mid plates are available in both 13 gauge mild steel as well as 6061-T6 aluminum. Most applications that use a stock OEM type transmission cross member do not require a mid plate. In an installation using the OEM type trans X member you can just use the front BBC motor plate in combination with the factory cross member. If you are not using an original style transmission cross member, then you can install a mid plate together with the front plate.

Big Block Chevy Mid Plates

We also sell BBC mid plates made of either mild steel or aluminum. These mid plates mount between the back of the engine block and the transmission bellhousing. The mid plate spans the area between the frame rails and you bolt it to brackets you provide and attach to the vehicles frame rails.
