Molnar Technologies Connecting Rods Specs

Molnar Technologies H Beam BBC rods are machined from billet 4340 steel, and then heat treated to provide improved strength. To make the rods even stronger, they are shot peened to which also increases fatigue life. All Molnar big block Chevy connecting rods are fitted with highly durable premium bronze bushings for use with floating pin type pistons. Each rod set includes ARP2000 fasteners, moly lubricant and installation guidelines.

All Molnar rods are finished in the United States at the Molnar Technologies shop in Michigan. Critical rod dimensions are are held to very precise tolerances of +/- .0001 of an inch, which is the tightest tolerance you will find in the performance and racing aftermarket.

Manley Big Block Chevrolet Connecting Rod Logo

Manley connecting rods for the big block Chevy motors are offered for a wide range of applications. Available models include the Manley Sportsmaster, Manley Pro Series I beam and Manley H beam connecting rods. All of the Manley steel rods are made from 4340 grade steel. Manley connecting rod sets feature exacting attention to detail and finish, and close tolerance machining.

We have forged steel I beam and H beam rods for the V8 big block Chevrolet 396, 402, 427, 454, 502 and stroker engines based on these production motor sizes. These connecting rods are offered in stock and longer than stock length to fit many stock, and aftermarket crankshaft, piston, and engine block combinations.
