These AMC pistons come with anti-friction skirt coatings, plasma moly piston rings, heavy duty wrist pins and pin retention clips. The pistons have symmetrical valve pockets which can accommodate oversized valves and high lift cams.

Wiseco and Molnar Rods have pistons and rods that are well suited for anything from rock crawling to racing to muscle car restoration. The rods listed below are designed to work with the piston sets on this page, as well as to replace stock AMC parts in other applications.

AMC engines are known to be strong performers. With the intake, exhaust and camshaft systems available today, as well as nitrous, blowers, and turbos, it has become obvious there is a serious requirement for stronger AMC bottom end components. Molnar Technologies has taken a long look at the AMC original equipment rods and worked with AMC racers to design a dedicated rod that corrects OE geometry issues, while dramatically improving the bottom end strength of today’s high performance AMC engine builds. Molnar Technologies has designed an extremely strong and lightweight rod to handle the demands of modern high performance and racing AMC engines.
