Ross Extra High Dome Piston Features

ROSS very high compression pistons feature forced pin oilers when applicable, anti detonation grooves, lock removal grooves and come complete with wrist pin retention lock rings. The pistons are pin fit and balanced to plus or minus 2.5 grams throughout the set. Intake and, or exhaust valve pockets are radius machined and designed to handle most common performance camshaft applications. The precision skirt design allows the pistons to work properly under intense combustion heat and tremendous side loads without scuffing or splitting cylinder walls.
